Hertz Global Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HTZ) is up 0.35% to $11.41. HTZ traded higher amid news that rival Avis Budget Group (NASDAQ: CAR ) has abandoned its bid to acquire Dollar Thrifty Automotive. (NYSE: DTG), (DTG)
The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS) is up 16.65% to $10.16. Shares of MCS are soaring in today’s trading; moving up after the company reported its first-quarter financial results. The stock has a 52-week range of $8-$14.64. It is currently trading above its 50-day and below its 200-day moving average. The stock gained 16.36% in the last three trading sessions. Sirius XM Radio Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI) is up 1.39% to $1.825. Yesterday, the company provided its outlook for 2012 and affirmed its outlook for 2011. The satellite radio company expects revenue growth of 10% to $3.3 billion in 2012. The CEO of the company, Mel Karmazin, said that the company’s outlook for 2012 displays its expectation of robust growth next year. Karmazin also said that the company’s outstanding financial performance in the midst of considerable economic uncertainty will continue in 2012 as it grows subscriber base and free cash flow.
